Lea & Neil
THE WEDDING OF
THE BRIDE | Lea
I knew Neil was different when he showed how much he was interested in learning about my culture. As I started learning about his, I saw so many similarities between ours.
Every weekend we made plans to spend time together, and soon the weekdays started to feel like forever.
That's when I realized I never wanted to imagine life without him.

THE GROOM | Neil
also known as Cyrus
It’s pretty simple: Lea is hands-down the smartest person I know (and the most beautiful).
I’m the lucky guy who gets to be the steady anchor to her creative energy and her ultimate partner in crime.
I can’t wait to marry my best friend, and when I’m not planning our next big adventure, I’m just figuring out new ways to make her laugh.
Our Story

Our story started with a swipe on Bumble in late March 2021. Back then, the world was still navigating the tail end of lockdown, so we agreed to a classic 2021 rule: no meeting until we were both fully vaccinated. Once that second shot was secured, Neil suggested a casual boba date. Because options were limited and places closed early, a quick drink turned into hours of sitting in the car, talking about everything and anything.
Neil knew right away that Lea was worth the time, and the casual hangouts quickly turned into proper dinner dates. Over the next few years, life threw its fair share of personal and family hurdles our way, but navigating them only brought us closer.
After about 3 years of dating, and Neil decided to move forward and have Lea move into his home. A year of shared routines later, a job opportunity called us up north. We packed up our lives and relocated to Santa Clara, where we’re currently building our next chapter in the Bay Area and counting down the days until we say 'I do!'
The Proposal
When a great job opportunity called Neil up to the Bay Area, there was only one catch: he couldn't imagine making the move without Lea by his side. They both knew they were heading toward forever anyway, but this big life change was the perfect moment to make it official.
Knowing Lea wanted a beach proposal, Neil planned a gorgeous setup at Lookout Point in Corona Del Mar. Because he knows her so well, he knew that having her family there to witness it meant everything. He popped the question by the ocean surrounded by the people they love most, making it the perfect send-off to from Southern California chapter before heading north to the Bay.
